Terms & Conditions
The short version: use GhostPrep for your own exam prep, don't copy or redistribute the question bank, and if you're on a subscription you can cancel whenever you like. The full version is below.

1. Who we are
GhostPrep is the trading name of the operator of ghostprep.co.uk and its associated exam-practice platforms (together, the "Service"). You can contact us about anything in these terms at admin@ghostprep.co.uk.
These terms are a contract between you and GhostPrep. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. What the Service is
GhostPrep provides practice questions, mock exams, worked explanations, study guides and a past-paper archive for UK university admissions tests, currently the LNAT, ESAT, TMUA and TARA.
GhostPrep is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any exam board, testing body, university or admissions service. Exam names are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the exams our materials prepare you for.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
An account is for one person. Keep your login details private — you're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
Give us accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
4. Free tier, subscriptions and passes
Parts of the Service are free to use. We may change what the free tier includes at any time.
Paid access unlocks additional content and features. Prices, billing periods and what each plan includes are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
We sell paid access in two forms. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel; you can cancel at any time through your account's billing settings or by emailing us, and cancelling stops the next renewal while you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
The Season Pass is a single payment that unlocks the Service for a fixed period — currently 12 months from the date of purchase. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel: access ends automatically when the period runs out, and we will not charge you again unless you choose to buy again.
If we change a price, the change applies to new purchases and to renewals after we've given you notice. Nothing you have already bought changes price: a subscription you're already on keeps its price until we tell you otherwise, and a Season Pass you've already paid for is unaffected.
5. Cooling-off and refunds
If you buy paid access for the first time — a subscription or the Season Pass — you can cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, even if you've already used the paid content. Email admin@ghostprep.co.uk and we'll process it.
After the 14-day window, payments for the current billing period aren't refundable, but cancelling a subscription always stops future charges.
The Season Pass is not refundable after the 14-day window. Because it is paid once up front and there are no further charges to stop, there is nothing to cancel — the access you've bought simply runs to its end date. Refunding it ends the access it paid for.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
6. Our content belongs to us
All content on the Service that we created — including every practice question, answer, worked explanation, mock exam, difficulty rating, study guide and piece of site copy, and the software behind it — is owned by GhostPrep or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. GhostPrep retains all rights in this content. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership to you.
Official past papers in our archive remain the copyright of their respective exam boards and are provided for personal study only.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the content for your own private, non-commercial exam preparation. That's the only right you get. In particular, you must not:
- copy, reproduce, publish, share or redistribute questions, explanations or mocks, in whole or in part, in any medium — including posting them to forums, group chats, file-sharing sites or other study platforms;
- scrape, crawl, bulk-download or otherwise extract content by automated means;
- use any content to train, fine-tune or evaluate a machine-learning model;
- sell, licence, rent or commercially exploit any content, or use it to build or contribute to a competing product or question bank;
- remove or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices.
If you breach this section we may suspend or terminate your account immediately, and we reserve all other rights and remedies.
7. What you submit belongs to us too
While using the Service you may submit material to us — answers, essays and writing-task responses, question flags, error reports, feedback, suggestions, or draft or proposed practice questions (together, "Submissions").
To the extent any Submission consists of or contains practice questions, question ideas, answer options, explanations or similar exam-preparation material, you assign to GhostPrep all intellectual property rights in it, worldwide and irrevocably, on submission. GhostPrep retains all rights in such material and may use, adapt, publish and commercialise it without restriction, credit or payment.
For all other Submissions, you grant GhostPrep a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, store, adapt and act on them for any purpose connected with operating and improving the Service.
You confirm that your Submissions are your own work and don't infringe anyone else's rights. Don't submit material you don't have the right to give us.
8. Acceptable use
Use the Service only for lawful, personal exam preparation. You must not:
- share your account or access someone else's;
- interfere with, overload or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
- attempt to bypass access controls, paywalls or usage limits;
- reverse engineer, decompile or copy any part of the software;
- use the Service to harass anyone or to upload unlawful or malicious material.
9. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we don't promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may add, change or withdraw features, content or exams at any time. If we permanently withdraw a paid feature that materially reduces what your paid access includes, you can cancel and we'll refund the unused part pro rata — the remainder of your current billing period on a subscription, or the remainder of the term on the Season Pass.
10. No guarantee of results
Practice improves performance, but we can't and don't guarantee any particular exam score, admissions outcome or offer. Admissions decisions belong to universities and testing bodies, not to us.
We review our content carefully, but no question bank is perfect. If you spot an error, flag it in the app or email us — corrections are part of how the bank gets better.
11. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that: we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you accepted these terms, for losses not caused by our breach, or for business losses (the Service is for personal use). Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that period — or £50 if you've only used the free tier.
12. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms — most obviously the content-use rules above — or if we're required to by law. Where reasonable, we'll tell you why.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with its date, always lives at this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll give you reasonable notice — by email or a notice on the Service — before it applies to you. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute — though if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there. Questions or complaints first: admin@ghostprep.co.uk.
